Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Ordered the Leo sandwich and a smoothie, and Iβve never seen such a paltry amount of lox on a sandwich. Bagel tasted acrid and the smoothie also had an βoffβ taste to it, right down the drain that went. My fault for trying someplace new, wonβt be ordering from this place again

Is it the best lox bagel Iβve ever had? No. Did it still hit the spot? Yeah. Decent lox bagel. Good service. Not the best atmosphere but a typical atmosphere for breakfast places, brighter lighting, sterile furniture, not so cozy. We dined in and it was very easy to have a conversation and to stay for a bit. Around noon on a Sunday they were moderately busy.

Pretty decent spot nearby the gym I went to today. I was curious of this place so I decided to go in for lunch. The place itself is pretty huge. Lots of seating area and a variety of food to order from Bagels, sandwiches, heroes and even breakfast along with desserts already prepped and made. Service was a bit on the slow side but it was lunch rush and it was fairly busy so I won't knock them too much on that. I got an American Grinder Hero (Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham with American Cheese, Swiss, Lettuce, Tomatoes and Honey Mustard) yeah pretty loaded there, along with BBQ Chips, Sprite and Chocolate Pudding. I did enjoy my meal as a whole but I got to bring address something and thankfully I noticed before I went through with my order. No knock on Knickerbocker Bagel but inventory leaves something to be desired. Half of the chips you have were past their expiration dates and the first soda I picked was a few weeks old itself. Gotta do a better job on making sure your stuff is good to go and not stale and dated. That bit of nitpicking aside, when it comes to food preparation, it's pretty solid.

Solid bagel spot approved by the locals. My colleague who grew up in the neighborhood said this is the only place heβll get bagels around here, so we stopped by on a Sunday morning. The shop wasnβt too busy when we came in around 8:30. They offered regular bagels and flat bagels. For their signature Loxury sandwich, I went with a regular sun-dried tomato bagel which had a slightly dense taste with a subtle sweet finish. They donβt seem to cure their own lox, but everything tasted fresh and came together nicely. I also liked that they mash the avocado instead of slicing it, which gave it a more even, concentrated layer that added a nice umami boost. For the SEC, we tried a flat sesame bagel. The texture was a bit too dense for me, but not in a deal-breaking way. The bagel sandwiches are definitely on the pricier side, but theyβre worth it. Solid stop if youβre in the area.
